Zoe Andrikidis Irreversible

Work by Zoe Andrikidis

In my work, I explored the natural human desire to change the past and take back seeming mistakes they have made in the past. I explored issues of regret, remorse and the misunderstanding of one’s place in life – similar to Christopher Nolan’s film Memento, which was a heavy inspiration of my work. By constructing the work backwards, I was linking my explored concept to the physical properties of the film and exploring the non-linear properties of contemporary filmmaking challenging the perceptions of the audience.
