Lucinda Bell Dreaming deeply

Through my work I have explored ideas about insomnia, dreaming and the subconscious mind. My own insomnia is due to the excessive amount of adrenaline my body produces in comparison with the average teenager, and I was curious about its development. In my etchings I have used my records of some of the realistic and vivid dreams I have when I am able to sleep, with the extensions of drawing and text in the images suggesting the impossible and whimsical nature of my dreams and subconscious mind.
