My artwork explores the form and beauty of cattle - a symbol of rural life. The sculptures evolved from a series of line drawings whose forms and contours were well suited to the linear nature of wire sculpture. I then used the wire forms as a basis for exploring density, and manipulated digital images to produce a series of transitional postcards, ranging from the two-cattle image to an almost formless mass of wire. Finally, I used a cropped digital image to capture aspects of the sculpture in the form of a poster.
